It’s my pleasure to bring back for a second time Suzy Turner, author of Raven and many other novels.

Suzy August 2014 smallTell us a bit about yourself and what you’re currently working on or promoting.
Hi Blakely! Thank you so much for having me on your blog today 🙂 I’m a British gal who grew up in Portugal. I starting writing full time in 2011 and have since published eight books. My latest, which will be out in November is a contemporary romance called And Then There Was You. It’s about infidelity, passion, love. I’ve just had feedback from a beta reader who told me it made her laugh and cry. She loved it! Phew 🙂  Continue reading

My 5 Star Review of Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

17788401Ugly love by Colleen Hoover is by far my favorite book this year. I’ve read other books I really enjoyed like Wonder by R.J. Palacio or ones I didn’t care for like Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn (I know I’m in the minority with that one). Why did Ugly Love speak to me so clearly? I’ll tell you. Continue reading

I’m Porcupine Strongwill from Perla del Mar de Oriente. I’ve recently published my first book called Forgotten Things to Say, a collection of poetry reflecting the journey of a young heart trying to forget a past love. It’s available for 2.99 USD on Amazon and FREE on KNOLL, so it would be totally awesome if you could check that out.  Continue reading

Nanowrimo and Fitness Challenge

November is the month for me to get off my ass, literally and figuratively. Although I’m not entering any of the Nanowrimo contests and I’ve already started my novel, I am using the daily discipline to help me finish Blue Persuasion this month. That’s right, you heard it here first!  Continue reading

Blakely’s Friday Interview with PJ Fiala

Please give a warm welcome to PJ Fiala, author of Second ChancesDog Days of Summer. Thank you for taking the time to visit with us. It’s been my pleasure to get to know you better.

Patti FialaWhat project are you currently working on?
I am currently engrossed in the Rolling Thunder Series. Dog Days of Summer, the first book just came out August 1st. Rydin the Storm Out, is the second book in the series and is just now coming back from beta readers. The third and fourth books are both in varying levels of completion. Continue reading

Fellatio, On and Off the Page

bubbleI am a huge fan of blowjobs, which is really a silly name for taking a wonderful cock into your mouth for play. There is no blowing and there is no work involved. So who came up with that name? I much prefer suckling delight or fellatio.

I enjoy the practice of it, writing about it, and reading stories that contain the act. However, I have a few friends that don’t care for reading about blowjobs and avoid engaging in them at all costs. In both cases, they had BAD past experiences. Continue reading

Blakely’s Friday Interview with Jen Cousineau

Please give a warm welcome to Jen Cousineau, author of A Deadly BetLicentious.

1stWho or what inspires you?
To My Loves, the inspiration is my daughters. In fact they are playing a major role in the book. Whereas Licentious was inspired by two songs: Monster by Rhianna and Eminem, and Human by Christina Perri. It all just depends, as each book the inspiration has been different. But I will tell you that while I’m writing, music plays a huge inspirational role for me.

Do you have an agent and/or publisher or are you self-published? If self-published, do you use a professional editor? If traditionally published, who is your publisher?
I’m self-published, but I do use a professional editor – Rogena Mitchell-Jones. I absolutely love her! I’m horrible with punctuation and sometimes being too detailed. She’s amazing at reigning me in a bit. Continue reading

Is the Vaginal Orgasm a Myth?

5454162405_cfe1a6fe26_z

Let’s discuss the latest study on the female orgasm entitled Anatomy of sex: Revision of the new anatomical terms used for the clitoris and the female orgasm by sexologists by Vincenzo Puppo and Giulia Puppo.

I love science and understand that the “current” belief systems change with new evidence, but this scientific study seems flawed to me. They used MRIs of the vagina to conclude that there is only one type of orgasm, clitoral and that the G-spot doesn’t exist. Continue reading
